CL 1B er en rørbasert en kanals kompressor beregnet for alle typer studioopptak: Fra delikat vokal, til krevende instrumenterer som gitar, trommer, etc. Gjennom årenes løp, og på tusenvis av spor, har CL 1B bevist sin verdi ved å tilføre de mest krevende opptak den ettersøkte varme ”vintage” lyden.

CL 1B - Opto Compressor

I CL 1B sitter det ett gain reduksjons element rett etter inngangs transformatoren. Denne er kontrollert via "sidechain" orsterkeren, som også inneholder de to tidskontroll kretsene - en for satte og en for variable "Attac/Release" verdier.

De to tidskontroll kretsene kan enten bli brukt hver for seg, eller kombinert (Fixed / Fix./Man / Manual) Kretsen består av semiconductor OP-forsterkere for full kontroll.
