Passive Stereo-Routing Utility Device
A discovery born out of necessity, the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Split | Meld is a practical non-destructive way to manage parallel dual-mono and stereo signal paths and adds to the OBNE line of pedalboard friendly utility devices.
The 2024 updated design features a smaller even more pedalboard-friendly layout in a mini-sized enclosure and artwork created by the OKC art duo Holey Kids, one half of which also works at the brand’s Oklahoma headquarters, to perfectly fit in with the latest pedals in the OBNE's Utility series.
As a routing solution that splits stereo TRS to dual mono TS signal paths (and vice versa), this little passive box of tricks is an ideal route for parallel signal paths in a myriad of creative ways.
Especially useful for stereo pedalboards and setups with devices that have TRS stereo inputs & dual-mono outputs, Split | Meld can also be used to make use of a pedal’s TRS effects loop, without the need to fiddle with TRS splitter cables that often can be poor quality and get in the way.
No power supply is needed here - simply connect and go.

Old Blood Noise Endeavors started in a garage, sort of. In reality, it is the return to the garage. After spending some time working for and building up some now established pedal companies, it seemed right, if not prudent, to give it a go in our own way, making the weird, niche based effects that we so often like to hunt down and use in our own musical projects. So here we are, Brady Smith and Seth McCarroll, making pedals, making and listening to music, drinking coffee, thinking about but never pulling the trigger on writing a screenplay, and waiting for the next Mads Mikkelsen movie to come out. With the help of some talented friends and employees we’ve been able to keep this thing rolling.
