DB10 DUAL BOOSTER

  • Two independent Boost circuits in one compact chassis
  • Clean channel offers +20 dB of boost with flat frequency response
  • Vintage channel offers +20 dB of boost with high-end roll off
  • Separate input/output jacks for each channel
  • Cascade channels or place a pedal in between them
  • Works in FX loop or front-end of amp
  • True Bypass Switching x 2

A unique concept in booster design, the DB10 features two completely independent boost circuits in a single compact housing.

The Clean (Left) channel offers up to +20 dB of clean boost with a completely flat frequency response.

The Vintage (Right) channel is Maxon’s take on the classic Treble Booster circuit.  It offers up to +20 dB of boost, but with a subtle high-frequency roll-off that increases as the Level is turned towards maximum.

Each circuit has its own input and output jacks, allowing them to be cascaded into one another in any order.  Place an overdrive or distortion in-between the channels for additional tonal options – super-saturated overdrive that can then be level-boosted for solos, etc.

One of the many great features of the DB10 is the proximity of the bypass switches to one another, allowing the user to hit both switches simultaneously.

Independent status LED’s indicate which channel is engaged and both channels feature True Bypass Switching using a 3PDT switch. Battery or DC (9-18 V) power options.

"I can't tell you how much I am loving the Dual Booster. I keep thinking how I ever went on stage without one before. I am probably turning the Dual Booster on and off more than any other effect on my pedalboard. It works perfectly!

Thanks so much again for all that you do for me. I really appreciate your support."

Maxon

Nisshin Onpa Company (Maxon) is an audio electronics manufacturer that has been in business since the mid-1960s. In the early 1970's they developed a line of compact guitar effect units and marketed them in Japan (these models are currently available as the Maxon Reissue Series). The Hoshino Trading Company (Ibanez) soon took notice and licensed the designs from Maxon for distribution around the globe under the Ibanez brand name.

From that time up until early 2002 Maxon was responsible for the design and manufacture of many Ibanez products, including the legendary TS808 and TS-9 Tubescreamers, the rare and collectible Flying Pan, and the popular SoundTank series.

Over the years the companies did less and less business together, until the only unit being built by Maxon was the TS-9 Reissue. In early 2002 Maxon ceased manufacture of the TS-9 Reissue for Ibanez and began marketing several of the original Nine Series models under their own Maxon brand name.
